The Ho’opono (& other) Spell(s)

In my last post, I was talking about how I use Harry Potter spells to achieve different things.

Today, I want to share another little magical experiment with you.

Have You Ever Heard of Ho’oponopono?

Have you ever heard about the Hawaiian Ho’oponopono prayer?

In short, Ho’oponopono is a Hawaiian practice connected to reconciliation, forgiveness, and inner cleansing. The modern version is often used as a simple mantra for emotional healing, forgiveness, and taking responsibility for what arises within oneself.

The most well-known version goes like this:

“I am sorry, please forgive me, I love you, and I thank you.”

For me, it always felt like a way of bringing peace into guilt, shame, anger, or emotional tension.

I used this prayer quite a lot a few years back and had great success with it. I chanted this mantra so often in my mind or spoke it out loud. Even years later I still did this sometimes.

The Problem With Chanting

But let’s be real:

That’s quite annoying after a while.

You have to chant it for as long as you want to. And after years of practice, I got annoyed by it and tried to shorten it with magic.

Here Comes My Ho’opono Spell

Here comes my Ho’oponopono spell.

It’s just this:

Ho’opono

This spell resembles the energy and power of the Ho’oponopono prayer.

No continuous chanting.

Just boom:

Spell on a person, thing, dynamic, emotion, whatever.

Feel the effects, the energy, and the power rain down on it.

At least, that was the theory.

Of course, I do not claim to represent the traditional Hawaiian practice here. This is chaos magick, nothing else.

Using It on the Mental / Astral Level

I started to use it on a mental / astral level and just cast the spell in my mind.

The first times, I was, for example, in bed and trying to sleep. I randomly started to cast it at everything that came to my mind in this state.

It was quick.

It was easy.

And it felt good.

I ended up casting it on the whole planet.

I also cast it at you, the reader of this post, at the moment of writing this.

Maybe you felt it.

Maybe not.

Creating More Spells

I think it’s fun to play with it, and it gave me the idea to invent even more spells.

Here are some of the ones that came to my mind so far:

Deducto

Opposite of Reducto.

So, in my use case, it does not remove blockages.

It creates boundaries.

Eraso

To delete something out of your memory, for example.

Expecto Moneto

That’s a funny one:

Expecting money for something, for example.

Expecto Protego

This one is great.

Expecting to be protected.

Expecto Ho’opono

Expecting to be forgiven.

Refeelio

Refill some astral being with energy.

Remembaro

Remember something specific.

Repicto

See something in a new picture.

Final Thoughts

These are just the ones that came to my mind so far.

I can’t say that they are 100 percent working.

I can’t even say if they are even 1% working 😀

But you can give them a try and, of course, be creative with it.

Have fun!

Peace 😉
